A Message from Scott Marier, Executive Director

Mobilizing community resources to tackle tough community problems like hunger and poverty is the compassionate business of Westerville Area Resource Ministry. Every day our work is dedicated to helping our neighbors in need.

WARM’s approach is innovative, utilizing best practices that are time proven. We restore dignity and provide hope by offering a hand up, not a hand out. We describe this strategy as client empowerment. Our aim is to supply clients with the tools and resources necessary to make better choices. The process known as “Mobility MentoringTM” involves both a development of skills and abilities, which propel our clients upward towards achieving life goals that result in higher
self-esteem, self-sufficiency and sustainability.

I wish I had room to tell you the many stories of how WARM has affected the lives of our clients with the help they have received.
They are stories of life transformation. Simply put…WARM changes lives! Through compassionate services and relevant programs,
the well-being of the people we serve improves dramatically.

We are expanding to continue to meet the growing need within our school district. Our aim is to reduce hunger and the devastating
effects of poverty on a larger scale. Our ability to do this connects directly to your continued partnership with WARM. You have the
power to change a life through your financial investment and meaningful volunteer engagement. We are grateful for your commitment
to sharing in our mission and values. Together, we are making a profound impact in boosting the health and welfare of our local community.

Contact us at www.warmwesterville.org to learn more about how you can make a transformational impact by joining WARM in working
to address poverty and food insecurity.

With WARM appreciation,
Scott Marier
