What is Thanksgiving Blessing Day?
Join us in the fight against hunger this holiday season as we prepare for our annual Thanksgiving Blessing Day event. Thanks to champions like you, this is a successful event year after year.
Each of our clients will receive a wonderful Thanksgiving meal for their families. They will receive a bag of groceries along with fresh items. Due to the amount of fresh items that we are providing this year it will only cost $20 or less to fill a bag!
How can I help?
If you would like to participate in Thanksgiving Blessing Day, please fill a brown paper bag with the list of items needed. If you are unable to fill a bag but feel moved to give financially, your donation will allow us to purchase the fresh items for the meal.
What goes in the bag?
Brown Sugar (1 - 2lbs Bag)
Cranberry Sauce (2 Can)
Packaged Turkey Gravy Mix (2 Packets)
Chicken Broth (1 - 32 oz box)
Baked Beans (2 - 28 oz Cans)
Mini Marshmallows (1 Bag)
Canned Yams (1 - 40oz can)
Stove Top Stuffing (1 Box)
If you would like to help further please attach in an envelope a $5 donation to help purchase our fresh items such as turkeys, pies, produce and butter.
Please plan to deliver bags to WARM (150 Heatherdown Drive) between October 29 and November 12.
